From Frequent Downtime to Stable Operation – A Zambian Copper Mine's Rotor and Stator Upgrade Journey

A large copper mine in Zambia had long been struggling with rapid wear and frequent replacement of rotor and stator, which seriously affected continuous production in the concentrator. After thoroughly understanding their slurry characteristics and equipment operating parameters, we customized a high-wear-resistant alloy rotor and stator for them. Following the replacement, the product service life was significantly extended, and annual downtime for replacement was greatly reduced, effectively improving equipment availability. Meanwhile, the maintenance team's workload was noticeably reduced, and spare parts management became easier. The customer highly recognized our product quality and service responsiveness, and has now included us in their annual spare parts framework agreement. This cooperation has also opened more market opportunities for us in the Zambian Copperbelt.
