Malaysian Iron Mine in Southeast Asia - Customization Case of China Zhejiang Dingli Forged Bucket Teeth

Project Background: An iron mine in eastern Malaysia is equipped with Volvo EC360 excavators. The region features frequent rainy seasons and muddy mine sites, requiring bucket teeth to have strong impact resistance in addition to wear resistance. Moreover, the mine hopes that the bucket teeth can be adapted to existing equipment without additional modification of tooth seats.

Bucket Teeth Selection: Custom forged bucket teeth by China Zhejiang Dingli were adopted, made of imported S355J2 round steel with hot die forging + isothermal normalizing process, precisely molded for Volvo EC360 model, and with anti-mud erosion surface treatment.

Application Effect: This type of bucket teeth is fully compatible with Volvo original equipment without any modification and easy to install. Under the working conditions of Malaysian iron mine, the service life reaches 6 months, 50% higher than that of conventional bucket teeth purchased locally. The anti-mud erosion process effectively avoids tooth body corrosion in muddy environment, reducing the overall failure rate of bucket teeth by 28%. Relying on excellent adaptability and performance, the mine has signed a 3-year long-term supply order with Zhejiang Dingli.
