Australia Iron Ore Mine
An iron ore processing plant in Australia faced severe corrosion of its original stator and rotor in a strongly acidic flotation environment.
Our stator and rotor, made of acid and alkali resistant special rubber, remained stable in slurry with a pH value as low as 2.5. The rotor impeller edges showed no significant swelling or cracking, and the stator flow channels maintained their original dimensions.
The mine's flotation recovery rate increased by approximately 5 percentage points after replacement. This improvement allowed the plant to recover the cost of the spare parts investment within one year.
