The Yang Chun Innovation Studio at Shougang Mining Company Machinery Plant, established in May 2016, focuses on grinding ball and segment R&D. In 2022, the team upgraded the forged ball production line to a semi-automatic intermediate frequency induction heating forging line. In early 2023, to fulfill a large overseas order, the team successfully developed double-head rolling technology based on single-head rollers. The team also continuously improved bagging efficiency, advancing bagging technology from "Version 1.0" to "Version 3.0".

Key Data:

• After line upgrade, staffing reduced from 8 to 6 people per shift, output increased from 15 to 18 tons per shift

• Double-head rolling technology increased production efficiency by 35% (two balls per rotation instead of one)

• 2,400 tons overseas order completed in just 10 days

• "Version 3.0" bagging reduced labor by 1 person, increased efficiency by 200% (three times original rate)

• Innovation studio generated over 6.8 million RMB in economic benefits and saved over 2 million RMB in three years

• Established "5+1" production line layout (five rolling lines, one forging line)
