FLSmidth has fully promoted the application of its patented nextSTEP™ advanced rotor-stator flotation mechanism in global mineral processing projects. The newly upgraded rotor and stator adopt a precisely matched profile design, which optimizes the energy transfer efficiency from the operating mechanism to the slurry, achieving the lowest energy consumption level in the current forced-air flotation industry. The bottom-mounted rotor-stator structure stabilizes the flotation cell froth surface and forms a thicker and more uniform froth layer, realizing efficient separation of valuable minerals and gangue.
Overall flotation recovery improved by 2-3%.
Unit power consumption reduced by more than 15%.
Multiple industrial verifications show that the new rotor-stator system strengthens air dispersion and bubble breakup effects, increases mineral attachment rate.
