Latest company case about Optimized application of multi-layer rotor stator in the flotation of fine-grained minerals

A graphite mine faced the problems of low flotation efficiency and high reagent consumption of fine-grained graphite, and the traditional flotation machine rotor and stator were difficult to achieve effective collision between fine-grained minerals and bubbles.

A high-turbulence fine-grained flotation machine with a multi-layer impeller-stator structure was adopted, and the layout of the rotor and stator was optimized through CFD simulation, so that the turbulent energy dissipation rate in the impeller area was increased from the traditional 20 m²/s³ to an average of 120 m²/s³, enhancing the collision efficiency between fine-grained minerals and bubbles.

After application, the cumulative recovery rate of fine-grained graphite increased by 28%, the flotation rate increased by 1.3 times, and the reagent consumption decreased by 30%, effectively solving the problem of fine-grained mineral flotation.
