High-Wear Resistance Application in Coal Mines

Industry: Coal & Construction Waste Management Equipment: CAT 350 & Komatsu PC450 Excavators Challenge: A coal recycling plant in North America faced severe wear issues on their excavators handling coal, shale, and construction debris. The high silica content in the material caused rapid abrasion, wearing out standard teeth quickly and leading to increased wear on the bucket adapter. Solution: Our high-chromium carbide reinforced bucket teeth were the ideal solution.
