A lead-zinc mine flotation workshop used XCF type flotation machines, with the original rotor and stator made of ordinary rubber, which had the problems of fast wear and poor corrosion resistance, requiring replacement every 1.5 months on average, seriously affecting production continuity.

Later, the rotor and stator were replaced with polyurethane material, which has both the high strength of plastic and the high elasticity of rubber, with significantly improved wear resistance and corrosion resistance.

The service life was extended to 6 months, reducing the equipment shutdown and replacement time, saving about 8,000 yuan in maintenance costs per month. At the same time, the aeration uniformity of the flotation machine was improved, and the recovery rate of lead-zinc ore increased by 3.2 percentage points.

This case verifies the excellent applicability of polyurethane rotor and stator in the field of non-ferrous metal flotation.
